WelcomeThe Mandan Progress Organization (MPO) was established in 1993 as a forum for businesses and citizens to unite to help Mandan thrive. Our mission is to enhance Mandan's business climate, create and promote public events and generate community pride. MPO endeavors complement those of the City of Mandan, Mandan Park District, Mandan Public School District and Morton County as well as other organizations including the Bismarck-Mandan Chamber EDC and Bismarck-Mandan Convention & Visitors Bureau. The MPO is charged with producing the cities legendary experiences. The MPO also the newly renovated Dykshoorn Park, and partners with local community groups on a variety of business development and quality of life projects. From Touch-a-Truck to Santa's Arrival, the MPO designs unique experiences for the entire family. |
Message from the Executive DirectorAs a life long resident of Mandan, it’s my honor to lead the Mandan Progress Organization as the executive director. I have a passion for the community and the awesome opportunities there are for the business members and residents. Mandan is community that knows how to have fun and at the MPO we are simply the facilitator of outstanding servant leadership aimed at the creation of legendary experiences and activities. Our business community supports the community activities year after year both financially and volunteerism assuring that the Mandan events continue. My ongoing role with the Mandan Progress Organization is overseeing operations and events, implementing our strategic plan, long term development planning, and building partnerships with business community.
